Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Holiday Inn Merida was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, right near Paseo Montejo and plenty of eateries, which made exploring the city easy. However, the hotel feels a bit run down and could definitely use some refreshment—especially the rooms which lacked windows and featured noisy air conditioning. Overall, if you’re just looking for a place to crash after a busy day, it's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.
While the Holiday Inn Merida offers a great location near Paseo de Montejo with plenty of dining options nearby, the hotel itself feels quite dated and in need of a refresh. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being friendly and helpful, but others dropping the ball. I appreciated the comfortable bed and decent breakfast, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet my expectations considering the issues with cleanliness and outdated amenities.
I had a mixed experience at the Holiday Inn Merida. The location is fantastic, being close to the lively Montejo area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt quite dated and in need of a refresh, which affected my overall stay. While the staff was friendly and helpful, certain aspects like cleanliness and noise from nearby facilities could be improved.
I had a mixed experience at Holiday Inn Merida. The location is prime for exploring the heart of Merida—everything from high-end restaurants to local coffee shops is just a walk away. However, the hotel itself feels outdated and is more suited for a quick stay rather than a relaxing getaway. The pricing is a definite plus, but the amenities and service could use some serious improvement.
During my stay at the Holiday Inn Merida, I found the location to be the highlight, nestled close to interesting spots and dining options. however, the hotel itself felt quite outdated and needed significant refreshing. The front desk service was hit or miss, which detracted from the overall experience. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and explore the city, this may suffice, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything beyond that.
